Satit Udomseuksa School is a private school under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Chonburi Educational Area 3, located at No.54/41 Moo 11, Sukhumvit Road, Soi Tan Mhan, Nongprue Sub-district, Banglamung District, Chonburi Province. The school has been established since May 16th, 1999, by its founder and licensee, Mr. Somphun Pettrakul (license No. Chor Bor 0006/2542). To cater for students from Early Childhood and Primary education in accordance with the curriculums of the Ministry of Education. 

The School development:

  • In 1999 Satit School was allotted 6 acres of land. The building consisted of 5 small buildings, 2 buildings with 2 floors and 3 buildings with 1 floor. There were 8 classrooms for Kindergarten 1-3 and Primary 1-5. There is 1 class for each level with a total of 340 students.

  • In 2000 Satit School opened Primary 6, bringing the total number of students in the school to 712. This year, the school received permission to expand the building to 4 floors with 36 classrooms.

  • In 2001 Satit School was allowed to expand the classes of the lower secondary levels. License No. Chor Bor 0096/2544 which allowed the increase of student numbers. The license No. Chor Bor 0097/2544 accommodated the number of students in the new 4 floors building. (Phettrakul Building 1) Class levels are as follows:

    • Kindergarten:                       8     Classrooms

    • Primary:                              11     Classrooms

    • Lower Secondary (1-3):      4      Classrooms 

  • In 2002 Satit School prepared a curriculum for the 2003 Academic Year. In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education Wor Gor 1166/2544 given on November 2nd, 2001. All schools must use the Basic Education Curriculum from 2001. The old curriculum of Primary, Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary must be replaced with 2001 curriculum.

  • In 2003 Satit School opened Kindergarten 1 to Secondary 3. By order of The Ministry of Education Wor Gor 353/2546, given on April 2nd, 2003. Kindergarten levels must use the Early Childhood Education Curriculum, BE 2546.

  • In 2004 Satit School requested an expansion for the Upper Secondary level. The school was granted the license No. Chor Bor 0143/2547 to expand the classroom and increase the capacity of students by the license No. Chor Bor 0142/2547.

  • In 2005 Kindergarten 1-3 used the curriculum in Early Childhood Education, BE 2546. Primary 1-6 and Secondary 1-5 used the curriculum in BE 2546 Basic Education. This year the school received permission to open a new building (Phetttakul Building 2) which has 4 floors and an underground floor.

  • In 2006 Satit School has levels from Kindergarten 1 to Secondary 6. This year the Secondary 6 class graduated for the first time.

  • In 2007 Satit School had an external accreditation for the second time, from the Office of National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) on 11th - 13th December, 2007. The school passed the accreditation for both the Early Childhood Education and Basic Education levels.

  • In 2008 Satit School prepared to open an English Programme based on the curriculum from the Ministry of Education. The school had to prepare a building, classrooms, teachers and general staff for this project.

  • In 2009 Satit School was fully accredited and licensed by the Ministry of Education to teach in English (English Programme) from May 16, 2009. Satit School prepared the educational curriculum following the Basic Education Core Curriculum BE 2551 to use for the 2010 Academic Year, according to the Order of the Ministry Education, Education Sor Por Thor 293/2551. The following are the class levels that must use the Core Curriculum Basic Education BE 2551: 

    • 2010 Academic Year: Primary 1- 6, Secondary 1 and Secondary 4. 

    • 2011 Academic Year: Primary 1- 6, Secondary 1 – 2 and Secondary 4-5.

    • 2012 Academic Year: All class levels.​

  • In 2010 Satit School was granted permission to construct a 4 floors building, which would have an open space on the 1st floor, a Library on 2nd floor and Laboratory on the 3rd and 4th floor. 

  • In 2011 Satit School requested for Secondary levels 4-6 for the English Programme based on the curriculum from the Ministry of Education in the Office of the Private Education Commission. The school was licensed in 2012. The Core Curriculum of the Basic Education BE 2551 was taught at every class level for this school year.

  • In 2012 Satit Udomseuksa School was licensed by the Ministry of Education.  The English Programme teaches the Ministry of Educations curriculum for Upper Secondary.  This year the school was externally assessed for the third time from the National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) on January 16th - 18th, 2013.  The assessment result was a ‘Pass’ (2011-2015) from the levels of Basic Early Childhood Education, Primary and Secondary since August 29th, 2013.

  • In 2014 Satit Udomseuksa School’s English Programme taught the Ministry of Education course at all levels from Kindergarten 1 to Secondary 6.  On November 28th, 2014 the Ministry of Education adapted the school curriculum to add the subject ‘Citizenship’ to the core Curriculum of the Basic Education Act 2008.  It has been added to Social Studies, Religion and Culture for every level of the basic education.
